Nealie O. Crews, 88, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 under the care of Hospice Savannah.

Mr. Crews was born in Echols County, GA on August 10, 1920, the son of the late J.D. and Julie Crews. Nealie was a veteran of the United States Army and a retiree of Diamond Manufacturing Co. He was also a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Mr. Crews is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Evelyn Crews; daughters, Patricia Crews Ekren and husband Donald of Garden City and Janelle Crews Mixon and husband Richard of Port Wentworth; sister, Jessie Hardee of Valdosta; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
